The Certified Repair Difference

The same black BMW after being repaired at Allentown Collision.

We're one of only four BMW certified collision repair shops in Pennsylvania, and the sole MINI Cooper one in The Keystone State. Our commitment to quality and precision sets us apart.

Our factory trained repair techs are trained well beyond the standards of non-certified collision repair center. They undergo rigorous training at BMW and MINI schools. There, they learn how to perform repairs that meet stringent factory standards.

Our certifications also mean we have the specialized equipment and expertise required to repair BMW and MINI vehicles accurately. Non-certified shops are restricted from ordering structural parts for these vehicles. That limits their ability to execute comprehensive repairs.

The Allentown Collision Center, however, has access to genuine BMW & MINI parts. We stand behind our work. And you get peace of mind.

Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Jump to a Question:

After a car accident, what should I do first?

First, make sure everyone is OK. If necessary, then contact emergency services. Document the scene by taking photos, gathering information from all parties involved. Notify your insurance company about the incident. Then give us a call at (610) 820-2977. If your car isn't drivable, we'll assist with having it towed to our shop. Our 24-hour towing number is (610) 820-5110. We'll also schedule an assessment of your vehicle's damage.

Will you work with my auto insurance company?

Yes, Allentown Collision Center collaborates with all major insurance companies (State Farm, Progressive, Geico, Allstate, and many others). Our team will help you navigate the claims process and ensure all the necessary documentation is provided.

How long will the repairs take?

It could require multiple weeks. A lot of it depends on the extent of the vehicle's damage and parts availability. After assessing your vehicle, we'll provide you with an an estimated timeline. We'll also keep you informed throughout the entire process.

Will you provide me a written estimate?

Absolutely! We offer detailed written estimates detailing the scope of work and associated costs before any repairs begin. We want you to fully understand the services being performed, so you can make informed decisions.

Do you offer a warranty on repairs?

Yes, we provide a comprehensive warranty covering both parts and labor. Specific warranty terms will be provided at the time of service.

Can you match my car's paint color?

Our technicians use advanced color-matching technology to make sure the new paint matches your vehicle's original color. The procedure restores your car's appearance to its pre-accident condition.

Do you use OEM parts?

Allentown Collision Center prefers using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts because they best maintain your vehicle's integrity and performance. However, your insurance policy may require the use of aftermarket or used/salvaged OEM parts.

Do you offer rental cars or loaner vehicles?

We don't have loaner vehicles on-site. But we'll help you get a rental car through one of our local providers. If your insurance policy covers a rental, we'll help facilitate the process.

How will I get repair updates?

You'll know you car's status throughout the entire repair process. We'll provide regular updates via your preferred contact method: phone, email, and/or text.

Is my vehicle safe at your shop?

Yes. While here, your car is securely stored. We're also covered by a comprehensive insurance policy that protects against unforeseen incidents like fire and theft.

What's your payment policy?

Payment is due upon completion of repairs. We accept cash, all major credit cards, and personal checks. If insurance is covering the repairs, we'll coordinate payment directly with your carrier.

How soon can I wash my car after repairs?

We recommend waiting at least two weeks before washing your vehicle - especially if you plan to run it through an automatic car wash. This will allow the new paint to cure properly. When you do wash it, use gentle methods and avoid abrasive materials. That'll help maintain its finish.
